Another Great Day In The Pacific Northwest!
Well today is the day. The day the Seahawks get to prove to everyone they deserve to be at Chicago playing the Bears. Think they'll win? I do. We'll see.
Let see....The Hawks have been iffy all year with the injuries and all. Alexander's foot which put him on the sidelines for several games didn't stop Mack Strong from stepping up to help fill the void of the injured 2005 MVP. Matt Hasselbecks knee injury seemed downright depressing until Seneca Wallace made us all proud with gutsy performances both in the pocket and while scrambling for a couple hard fought victories while filling in for Matt. Wide receivers out. Defensive linemen out. Going to the street (basically) to find a Mortgage Rep to strengthen the defense. C'mon have they been playing as a team or what?
Hasselbecks back and looking more comfortable in the pocket but needs to keep cool and avoid turnovers. Alexander needs to be fed early to establish the running game and the offensive line needs to protect Matt in order to give the receivers time to get open in the secondary. Sound easy? It's not. The Chicago Bears will be swarming like Bees after honey. That little pigskin ball of honey.
Although we have freezing tempuratures outside, I'll be rooting for them from the comfort of my couch and this twelfth man will be cheering for the Hawks in about 42 minutes with millions of other fans. Goooooo Hawks!!!
